Makes 48 servings



whole wheat cookie for little 1' cutouts. I like orange extract better than vanilla.

Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat Whole Wheat Cut Out Cookies

0.5 cup Confectioners Sugar
4 tbsp Butter
0.25 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
0.5 large Egg, Yolk
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.13 tsp Vanilla Extract
5.5 serving Flour

Recipe Directions for Low Fat Whole Wheat Cut Out Cookies

  1. combine sugar, butter, apple sauce, egg yolk and flavor and beat until smooth.

  2. Add the flour, mix through. Shape into a flattened disk and refrigerate over night or for 2 hours.

  3. Remove from refrigerator and let soften for about 20 min.

  4. Roll out and use cookie cutter to cut shapes.

  5. Brush shapes with egg white and sprinkle with sprinkles.

  6. Bake in convection oven at 350 for 8min.

  7. Remove and let cool.
