A Low fat Tomato Onion Bisque that goes well with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Low fat Tomato Bisque

6 tomatoes
2 onions
10 cloves garlic
10 red pepper
1 tsp rice
2 tbsp dry coconut
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp oil
5 cups water

Recipe Directions for Low fat Tomato Bisque

  1. Dry fry rice, coconut, cumin seeds and poppy seeds and grind them into fine powder.

  2. cook tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic.

  3. Blend everything into a smooth puree.

  4. Bring to boil for 5 minutes

  5. Season with oil and mustard seeds.

  6. Basil or rosemary can be added to enhance flavour.
