Delicious with virtually no added fat

Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat Pancakes

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp applesauce
1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt

Recipe Directions for Low Fat Pancakes

  1. Sift all dry ingreds. together. Add applesauce and water and mix until batter drips from spoon (not too runny).

  2. Makes about 4 Cakes.

  3. Ladle about 1/4 cup batter into pan. Let cook until small bubbles form in center. Flip. Keep completed pancakes covered to keep moisture in.
