Recipe Ingredients for Low-Fat Hummus

3 cups chickpeas
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 T cumin
1/2 t. salt
1 clove garlic, peeled
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Low-Fat Hummus

  1. Put all ingredients in the food processor except for water.

  2. Process until smooth.

  3. Add water slowly while processor is running until desired consistency.

  4. Adjust garlic, cumin, lemon juice and salt to taste.

  5. Keep refrigerated in airtight container.
