Recipe Ingredients for low fat home made ranch dressing

1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons mayonnaise (real is best)
1/3 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice (fresh is best)
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Recipe Directions for low fat home made ranch dressing

  1. THE YOGURT MUST BE STRAINED FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES - LONGER IS BETTER!

  2. Whisk all the ingredients together.

  3. Refrigerate for at least half an hour.

  4. Enjoy!
