Granola- I have taken this recipe from the NY Times recipe of the day and adjusted.

Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat Crunchy Granola

6 cups of rolled oats
1 cup honey
1 cup almonds
2/3 cup cashew
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 dash of salt
2/3 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Low Fat Crunchy Granola

  1. Mix all ingredients together except the dried cranberruies and pour out on 2 cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes stirring occassionally. The longer it is baked the darker and crunchier the granola will be. Take out of the oven and sprinkle cranberries over mixture. Stir a couple times while cooling. Keep in an air tight canister.

  2. serving size is 1/3 cup
