3 oz SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

  6. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  7. 3/4 cup whole wheat flour

  8. 3/4 cup Splenda or other sweetener

  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  10. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  11. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  12. 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

  13. 1 egg

  14. 2/3 cup 1% milk

  15. 3 small apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)

  16. Directions

  17. * Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

  18. * lightly spray muffin pan with cooking spray

  19. * Mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, splenda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl

  20. * In a separate, small bowl, mix together the applesauce, egg, and milk.

  21. * Pour applesauce mixture into flour mixture and stir until just blended (don't over-stir); fold in apples

  22. * Spoon mixture into muffin pan
