A basic coffee cake made with applesauce instead of butter to decrease calories and fat. In the directions you will see there's 1/2 cup sugar, you must also put 1/2 cup splenda into the cake. The calorie count was off when I added it to the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat Chocolate Chip Cake

3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
3/4 cup skim milk
1 egg
2 egg whites
1 tblsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Low Fat Chocolate Chip Cake

Literally put everything except 1/2 cup of flour and the chocolate chips in a bowl and mix. Then mix flour and chocolate chips and fold that into the bowl. This will ensure the chocolate chips do not fall to the bottom of the cake.
