Ingredients: 1 cups flour 1/2 cup coconut crystals (instead of sugar) 1/2 tbsp cornstarch 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 1/4 cup cocoa 1.5 cups applesauce 1/4 tsp vinegar 1/2 cup soy milk dash of vanilla

3/4 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
8 serving Coconut Crystals - 1 Tbsp
7 1/2 grams Cornstarch
7 1/2 grams Baking Soda
0.13 tsp Sea Salt
4 tbsp Special Dark Cocoa
3 serving Apple Sauce all natural no sugar added (Great Value) 1/2 cup
1/4 tsp Vinegar, Cider
1/2 serving Soy Milk (Silk) light original 1 cup
0.12 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Low-Fat Chocolate Applesauce Cupcakes - vegan

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Spay Pam on a muffin pan.

  2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix all of the wet ingredients together

  4. Add wet ingredients, to the dry ingredients and mix well until batter is smooth.

  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until done. Sticking a toothpick in the center of the cupcake. If the toothpick comes out clean, then your cupcake is done baking.
