Recipe Ingredients for low fat blueberry bran muffin

1.5 cup dry Wheat Bran, Unprocessed (Millers Bran)
8 oz 1% Partly Skimmed Milk
0.5 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
0.5 cup, unpacked Sugars, Brown
0.5 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
0.5 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 large Egg, Yolk
1 cup Blueberries
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for low fat blueberry bran muffin

  1. preheat oven to 375

  2. grease muffins pans

  3. mix bran and milk together for 10 min

  4. in separate bowl, mix applesauce,sugar ,egg and vanilla

  5. Sift together flours, sugar baking powder, baking soda and salt

  6. stir into wet ingredients until just blended.

  7. Fold in blueberries

  8. bake 15 to 20 ins
