Recipe Ingredients for Low fat banana nut muffins

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup splenda brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup mashed banana
1 large egg
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup 1% milk

Recipe Directions for Low fat banana nut muffins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use fat free spray such as Baker's Joy to coat 12-muffin pan. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Use a whisk to thoroughly blend dry ingredients. Mix banana, apple sauce, egg, and milk; gradually add wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
