Recipe Ingredients for Low fat Banana Nut Muffins

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 c whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 c applesauce
1 egg
1 egg white
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 bananas
1/4 c walnuts
1/4 c semi sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Low fat Banana Nut Muffins

mix flours, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together. set aside. in a separate bowl mix sugar, applesauce, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Divide into lined muffin tin. bake 325 for about 25 minutes.
