Recipe Ingredients for Low fat banana chocolate chip muffins

1/4 cup applesauce
1 egg
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup wheat bran
1 cup spelt flour
3 bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/8 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Low fat banana chocolate chip muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Cream brown sugar and applesauce until fluffy.

  3. Add banana , milk, vanilla and egg; mix well. Stir in flour wheat bran,baking powder, soda, and salt. Blend just until moistened.

  4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

  5. Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes
