Recipe Ingredients for low fat banana bread

1 egg
1 egg white
1/3 cup sugar
4 bananas
1/3 cup low fat buttermilk
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for low fat banana bread

  1. preheat oven to 325

  2. grease and flour loaf pan

  3. beat eggs and sugar together

  4. mix in bananas (mashed) vanilla and oil

  5. whisk together dry ingredients , then add to moist ones

  6. pour in pan

  7. sprinkle walnut pieces and chocolate chips over top if desired

  8. bake till done
