Recipe Ingredients for Low Fat Apple Cheddar Muffins

1 egg
2 cups Bisquick Heart Smart
1 cup apple (finely chopped)
4 oz fat free cheddar (shredded)
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup 1% milk
2 tablespoons applesauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Low Fat Apple Cheddar Muffins

  1. ?Heat oven to 400F.

  2. ?Line 12 regular-size muffin cups with with paper baking cups.

  3. ?Mix cinnamon into the Bisquick.

  4. ?In medium bowl, beat egg slightly. Beat in sugar and then stir in other remaining ingredients-except Bisquick.

  5. ?Fold in Bisquick quickly, do not over mix.

  6. ?Divide batter evenly among cups.

  7. ?Bake 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm
