Great low-carb french toast that actually has bread in it (instead of pork rinds)!

Recipe Ingredients for Low Carb French Toast

2 serving Smart Carb #1 Bread
1 large Egg
4 tbsp Organic Half and Half Pint
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Recipe Directions for Low Carb French Toast

  1. Combine egg and 1/4 c half & half (or heavy whipping cream). Dip bread in egg mixture and soak it well on both sides.

  2. Fry in butter until golden.

  3. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon and/or roasted pecans.

  4. Excellent with Simple Apple Topping or low carb syrup.
