Recipe Ingredients for Low-Calorie Split Pea Soup

2 cups Peas, Green
4 cup Chicken Broth
2 cups water
1 cup Celery
1 Onions
1 cup Carrots
1 clove Garlic
3 Salt, Table
3 t Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Low-Calorie Split Pea Soup

Rinse and sort peas. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours or to desired consistency. Add water for a thinner soup. Makes 8 1-cup servings.
