These granola bars are low in calories, low fat, absolutely no sugar, packed with fiber, super easy to make, inexpensive and taste way much better than store bought ones. Also, the recipe is highly flexible ? you can use any combination of dried fruit and nuts such as dates and walnuts or almonds and dried cranberries.

Recipe Ingredients for Low Calorie Raisin Pecan Granola Bar Recipe


Ingredients:
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
2/3 cup chopped raisins
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon wheat flour

Recipe Directions for Low Calorie Raisin Pecan Granola Bar Recipe

  1. Directions

  2. Preheat oven to 325F.

  3. Line an 8 x 11-inch baking tray with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.

  4. Place egg white, ground cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whisk well.

  5. Stir in oats, raisins, pecans and flour.

  6. Spread mixture in the prepared baking tray; level the mixture by pressing on it with the back of a spoon.

  7. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars with a lightly greased knife. Makes 16 granola bars
