Recipe Ingredients for Low Calorie Coffee Cake Muffins

1/4 cup brown sugar (splenda)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup oats
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
2/3 cups milk (nonfat)
1 1/2 tbsp butter (I can't believe it's not butter or other vegetable based butters)

2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Low Calorie Coffee Cake Muffins

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. mix the first 7 ingredients and make a well in the centre.

  3. mix the next 3 ingredients and add to the centre of the well. Mix until folded in but don't over do it.

  4. the last ingredients are the topping that go on top of the muffins once already in the baking tray. mix them and drizzle over the muffins before baking.

  5. bake for 20-25 minutes
