Recipe Ingredients for Low Calorie Butternut Squash Soup

2 lbs butternut squash
1/2 onion
3/4 cup skim milk
1 pinch sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves

Recipe Directions for Low Calorie Butternut Squash Soup

  1. Sautee butternut squash in pan.

  2. Add in onions. Sautee those, too. Wouldn't want them to feel left out.

  3. Add in spices and butter.

  4. Add milk and chicken broth. Bring to boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes or until squash is soft.

  5. Blend that sucker like your life depends on it (in a blender).

  6. Leave to set for 10 minutes.

  7. Consume.
