Recipe Ingredients for Low Calorie Banana Walnut Cake

3/5 cup Mashed bananas
1/2 cup Margarine
3/4 cup Water
3 Eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Low Calorie Banana Walnut Cake

  1. Beat the bananas and the butter until they are creamy.

  2. Add the eggs and water, and beat it well.

  3. Stir in the unbleached flour, baking powder, the soda and the other dry ingredients.

  4. Beat the mixture until it is smooth.

  5. Add the raisins and the nuts.

  6. Spread the batter evenly on to a floured and oiled 13 inch by 9 inch pan. Bake it at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Insert a knife and check whether it comes out clean. Cool and serve it in square cut pieces.
