Low-Calorie Banana Muffins made with Splenda and Egg substitute.

Recipe Ingredients for Low-Calorie Banana Muffins

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp kosher salt
1 cup bananas, mashed
1/4 cup splenda sweetner
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup egg substitute
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Low-Calorie Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease Muffin cups or use Muffin liners.

  2. Mix togehter Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt and set aside. In a medium mixing bowl beat together banana, splenda, egg substitute, and Vanilla. Stir in Applesauce and then slowly add dry ingredients until just combined. Scoop batter into prepared muffin cups.

  3. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until toothpick inserted into center of muffin comes out clean. Let cool before serving. For best flavor, place in an airtight container or bag overnight.
