Diced veggies with salt and pepper seasoning left to simmer for around 25 minutes

Recipe Ingredients for low cal soup

1 large tomato, diced
1 large onion, diced
1 large potato, diced
100 grams cabbage
100 grams green peas
100 grams shell pasta
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for low cal soup

  1. Dice tomato, potato and onion and keep aside.

  2. Cut cabbage finely and keep aside.

  3. Mix diced veggies with cabbage, peas; add 1 tsp oil, salt and pepper to taste, water and bring to a boil. When boiling lower gas flame and simmer broth for around 25-30 minutes till water reduces.

  4. You can add 2 tsps cornflour mixed with water to thicken the broth if you like.

  5. Serve hot with tabasco sauce (optional).
