Low Cal Fat Free Chicken Mushroom

Recipe Ingredients for Low Cal Fat Free Chicken Mushroom

584 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Garlic clove, crushed
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 regular Onion Rings
1 cup fat free yogurt (200gm)
1/2 cup chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Low Cal Fat Free Chicken Mushroom

  1. * Cut chicken breasts diagonally into wide strips. Season with lemon juice , salt and pepper.

  2. * Slice the onions, then cut each onion slice in half and rub to get onion strips.

  3. * In a non stick skillet or baking dish, add onion strips and stir over medium heat . Add garlic and stir. Add chicken strips and stir. Add a few drops of water to give a golden brown color components and stir.

  4. * Add yogurt, mustard, salt and pepper and stir to mix all ingredients well. Add broth and bring to boil.

  5. * Reduce heat and leave to cook for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is done. Add some water if sauce is too thick.

  6. * While chicken is being cooked, stir mushrooms in a non stick skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

  7. * Add mushrooms to chicken and stir to mix well.

  8. * Move to a serving dish and sprinkle parsley on the surface. (optional)
