Recipe Ingredients for Low cal chicken and rice soup

4 oz Chicken breast
10 1/2 oz chicken broth
1/4 cup peas
1/4 cup carrots
1/4 cup green beans
1/4 cup corn
1/4 cup rice
1 clove garlic
2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Low cal chicken and rice soup

  1. place carrots garlic water and chicken breast in pan, bring to boil. Simmer untill chicken is cooked through. strain broth saving chicken a garlic discard carrots

  2. shred cooled chicken, place back in pan with garlic and broth. Add can of broth heat till boiling, turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes. add frozen carrots beans peas and corn simmer 5 mins, add 1/4 cup rice simmer untill cooked. Add salt pepper and cayenne pepper to adjust to your liking.
