Recipe Ingredients for Low Cal Breakfast Casserole

1 tbsp Asiago Shredded Cheese
0.25 cup pieces Mushrooms
0.25 tablespoon Sage
1 tbsp chopped Shallots
0.5 tsp Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cold Pressed
0.8 large Egg, Whole
0.25 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1 slice Nature's Own 100% Whole Wheat
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper
0.25 cup Fat Free Beef Flavored Broth

Recipe Directions for Low Cal Breakfast Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cook mushrooms & shallots in 1/8 TB olive oil with 1/4 cup beef broth, salt, pepper and sage over medium heat in skillet. Remove from heat after 5 mins or when beef broth is reduced. Mix in a bowl with bread and asiago. Use remaining olive oil to grease the bottom of an oven safe dish. Spread bread mixture over bottom of dish. In separate bowl, wisk milk and egg. Then pour over top.

  3. Cook covered for 30 minutes. Then cook uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
