Recipe Ingredients for low-cal apple cake

2 medium apples
1 cup no calorie splenda
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup egg substitute
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for low-cal apple cake

  1. core and slice apples

  2. combine dry ingredients

  3. combine wet ingredients

  4. mix together slowly

  5. add in 3/4 sliced apples

  6. pour into 8" cake pan

  7. top with remaining apple slices and dust with cinnamon and a sprinkle of splenda

  8. bake at 350 for 35 minutes
