Recipe Ingredients for Lousiana Cheese chive bisquits

2 cups flour
1 T baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped chives
1 cup milk
1 T butter
2 tsp water

Recipe Directions for Lousiana Cheese chive bisquits

add first three ingredients. cut in 1/4 cup butter with pastry blender. add cheese and chives, gradually add milk, shape into balls. Roll dough to 3/4 inch thick. cut with a 2 1/2 inch round coookie cutter. place on an ungreased baking sheet, brush tops with butter. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
