Recipe Ingredients for Lourdes' Turkey Stroganoff

10 3/4 oz. Healthy Request cream of chicken soup
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 cup onion, minced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 cube chicken bouillon, crumbled
2 cups fat free chicken broth
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt
8 cups frozen green beans
8 oz whole wheat pasta

Recipe Directions for Lourdes' Turkey Stroganoff

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.

  2. While the water boils,saute onions, garlic and mushrooms and then add ground turkey.

  3. Mix the bouillon cube and flour with the chicken broth and pour over the mixture, whisking to mix well.

  4. Add the cream of chicken soup, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Add frozen green beans and simmer until tender but not wilted.

  6. Turn off heat and stir in yogurt.

  7. 1 cup of pasta per serving. Ladle stroganoff on top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
