Homemade turkey sausage with lots of spices. Low in fat and high in taste.

Recipe Ingredients for Lourdes' Turkey sausage patties

1 lbs. lean ground turkey
2 teaspoons ground sage
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar splenda

Recipe Directions for Lourdes' Turkey sausage patties

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl well. Refrigerate for the flavors to blend for two hours or more.

  2. Shape into 8 balls and flatten into patties.

  3. Grill on medium high heat for 5 minutes on each side and no longer pink in the center.

  4. I use an indoor grill. A George Forman grill is perfect. No need to turn and done in five minutes.
