Turkey burgers when I miss fast food but not the fat. Serve with baked yam fries and a diet A&W rootbeer. It's like I'm cheating. I also saute some onions and mushrooms in balsamic vinegar and a dab of olive oil for a scrumptious topping to this burger so I don't miss the cheese either.

Recipe Ingredients for Lourdes' Seasoned turkey burgers

3 lbs. lean ground turkey
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 oz. dry onion soup mix
1 egg, slightly beaten

Recipe Directions for Lourdes' Seasoned turkey burgers

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and then chill for at least 10 minutes.

  2. Shape into 12 patties.

  3. Lightly oil grill grate and cook burgers on medium low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning once.

  4. Do not overcook or it will be dry.
