Recipe Ingredients for Lourdes' Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup margarine, softened
3/4 cup splenda brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick oats
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Lourdes' Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.Whisk together flour, baking soda and cinnamon in a bowl, set aside. Cream together butter and splenda. Add eggs and vanilla, then beat until fluffy. Mix in flour mixture just until combined, then stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Move dough into rubbermaid container and chill for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Scoop out a tablespoon of dough 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake at preheated 350 oven for 14 to 15 mins. Cool on wire racks.
