Recipe Ingredients for Lotus Root Soup

10 cups water
10 oz Lotus Root
5 oz lean pork
1 dates

Recipe Directions for Lotus Root Soup

  1. Bring water to a boil.

  2. Add Pork, lower heat to medium and remove any sediments. cook meat for 5 minutes.

  3. Add dates and lotus root.

  4. Cook for two hours at low/medium heat.

  5. Add salt to taist.
