Recipe Ingredients for lori's linguine

1 1/2 c chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup snipped parsley
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1 clove garlic, chopped, small
2 T olive oil
16 oz diced tomatoes
15 oz tomato sauce
2 t sugar
1/8 t salt
1/8 t black pepper
1/8 t red pepper
1/8 t oregano
1/8 t basil
8 oz linguine
1/3 cup parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for lori's linguine

  1. Cook all vegetables and garlic in the olive oil until onion is tender.

  2. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, and all spices.

  3. Simmer 30-60min until desired consistency.

  4. Cook pasta per directions, serve with sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
