Recipe Ingredients for Lori's Green Chile

2 pounds Pork, Fresh, Loin, Tenderloin
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic (christopher ranch)
1/3 cup flour
7 ounces Green Chiles (La Preferida)
4 ounces Peppers, Jalapeno
16 ounce Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
3 cups water
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon whole leaf oregano

Recipe Directions for Lori's Green Chile

  1. In large skillet brown the pork in oil. When pork is almost finish browning, add garlic and continue to brown.

  2. Add the flour, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Mix together the chiles (whole), jalapenos (diced) and tomatoes (whole peeled) and add to pot.

  3. Add water and spices.

  4. Bring the chile to a boil. Turn the heat to low and simmer chile for 30 minutes.

  5. Serve with refried beans and rice or vermicelli, or as a smothering chile for burritos.
