Recipe Ingredients for Lorie's Turkey Sausage and Vegetable Soup

1/2 head of cabbage
4 cups vegetable broth
1 1/2 canned tomato
1 1/2 cups white beans
4 stalks celery
1 large zucchini
2 cups broccoli
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
4 bacon
14 oz louis rich, turkey, smoked sausage

Recipe Directions for Lorie's Turkey Sausage and Vegetable Soup

  1. Cut and fry bacon in large pot or you can use a roasting pan over two burners.

  2. Once browned add sliced turkey sausage and continue to brown.

  3. Once sausage is lightly browned and cooked thru add minced garlic and chopped onion and cook until onion is lightly transparent.

  4. Add remaining cut vegetables, canned items and liquids and simmer for 45 minutes over Med High heat.

  5. Serve with Grated Parmesan Cheese.
