Recipe Ingredients for Long Grain and Wild Rice

1 1/4 cups long grain brown rice
5/8 cup wild rice
1 1/4 tablespoons dried parsley
2 1/2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
1 1/4 teaspoons dried thyme
5/8 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Long Grain and Wild Rice

  1. Bring 4 cups water to boil in a medium saucepan.

  2. Add all ingredients, cover, and simmer for 50 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, and wait 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

  4. Use Long Grain white rice to decrease cook time to about 35-40 minutes.

  5. Wild rice takes quite awhile to cook.
