Recipe Ingredients for Loaded Smashed Potatoes

5 Russet Potato
1/2 stick Butter, Softened And Cut Into Pieces
8 ounces Bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 whole Green Onions, Sliced
3/4 cups Sour Cream
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
3/4 cups Frenchs French Fried Onions Original
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Loaded Smashed Potatoes

  1. Boil potatoes or bake in the oven until fork-tender.

  2. Add to a large bowl and smash with a potato masher.

  3. Immediately add softened butter, green onions, bacon, and sour cream and stir with a rubber spatula.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Add french fried onions and fold in.

  6. Serve hot, sprinkling on extra french fried onions and green onions.
