Baking soda biscuits loaded with goodness!

Recipe Ingredients for Loaded Biscuits

2 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
3 oz mozzerella cheese, grated (about 1 1/4 cups)
2 tbsp green pepper, diced finely
3 tbsp green onion, diced finely
1/3 cup cooking oil
3/4 cup skim milk, cold

Recipe Directions for Loaded Biscuits

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.

  2. Stir well with a wire wisk.

  3. Add cheese, onion, and green pepper, stir lightly to mix.

  4. Add cooking oil and milk, stir to combine into a soft dough.

  5. Put on a floured surface and knead 8 to 10 times.

  6. With a floured rolling pin, roll until 3/4" thick, cut with a 2 1/4" round cookie/biscuit cutter.

  7. Arrange on a ungreased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake in a 425 degree oven for about 15 minutes, until browned.

  9. Makes 12 to 13.
