This meal is also a good homemade dogfood recipe. Just add salt & pepper to taste for people.

Recipe Ingredients for Loaded Baked Potato casserole

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, 85% lean
2 c. broccoli, diced
3 c. potatoes, peeled, diced
1/2 c. onion, diced
1 c. carrots, sliced
20 oz. cheddar cheese soup, condensed

Recipe Directions for Loaded Baked Potato casserole

  1. Chop broccoli into small pieces, set aside.

  2. Peel & dice potatoes and carrots. Add to boiling pot of water.

  3. Cook until just tender.

  4. Add broccoli. Cook all until broccoli is tender & still bright green.

  5. Chop onion. Set aside.

  6. Brown ground beef until no longer pink, drain fat except 1 T.

  7. Add chopped onion to beef. Cook until onion is translucent.

  8. Drain water from vegetables.

  9. Add hamburg mixture.

  10. Mix in 2 cans cheddar cheese soup.

  11. Add salt & pepper to taste if cooking for humans (not dogs).

  12. Keep hot until all is thoroughly combined.

  13. Alternatively, bake at 350 F for 1 hour.

  14. Makes 8 one cup servings.
