1 cup bisquick (heart smart)
7 tablespoons low fat buttermilk

Recipe Directions for Lo-fat Buttermilk "Bisquick" Dumplings

  1. Mix ingredients together until just mixed for non-tough dumplings.

  2. Drop onto simmering stew or sweeten them a little with no-calorie, no-carb splenda and use for the topping of a cobbler.

  3. Cook dumplings for stew for 10 minutes with the lid off of the stew & 10 minutes with the lid on.
