Your favorite Macaroni and cheese dinner made with fewer calories (1/2 cup per serving).

Recipe Ingredients for Lo-Cal Macaroni & Cheese

206 g (1 pkg) macaroni and cheese dinner mix
6 cups water
1 3/10 g (1/4 tsp) salt substitute
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup low fat margarine

Recipe Directions for Lo-Cal Macaroni & Cheese

  1. Prepare macaroni noodles per package directions, in 6 cups water, using salt substitute instead of salt. Set aside cheese packet.

  2. When noodles are done, drain and run under cool water. Drain again.

  3. Combine noodles, skim milk, margarine and cheese. Stir until well-blended.

  4. Serve with your favorite hot dogs! (1/2 cup per serving).
