Recipe Ingredients for Liz's Lentils

1 cup, chopped Carrots
1 cup, diced Celery
0.5 cup, sliced Onions
3 oz Endless Beef Smoked Sausage Rope
1.5 cup(198 g) Lentils, Mature Seeds

Recipe Directions for Liz's Lentils

  1. Simmer barley in 4 cups beef broth or bullion with chopped onion. for 20 minutes.

  2. Add lentils, chopped carrots, celery and sausage. Add a pinch of sage, thyme and pepper.

  3. Simmer another 20 or 30 minuets, or until lentils are tender. Watch lentils and add water as needed toward the end.
