meatballs - use with marinara sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Little Italy Meatballs

4 slices bread, wheat
3/4 c. milk, 2%
1 lb. sausage, italian
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1/2 c. parsley
2 eggs
1 T. garlic powder
1 1/2 t. salt
2 lb. hamburger
2 onions
1/8 c. canola oil
1 T. oregano, dried
1/8 t. red pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Little Italy Meatballs

  1. Saute the onions in the canola for 10 min. then add the oregano, red pepper and garlic.

  2. Add torn bread and milk and mix until smooth.

  3. Add other ingredients except beef.

  4. When well mixed, add in beef and mix by hand.

  5. Form into 18 meatballs and bake at 475 for 15-20 minutes until brown.
