Light and simple. This lasagna fulfills the craving for a fabulous Italian dinner without putting you to sleep.

Recipe Ingredients for Lite and Easy Lasagna

12 oz Ronzoni Smart Pasta
16 oz Ground Turkey, 93% Lean
16 oz Spinach
10 serving Sweet Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 cup Light Ricotta Cheese
3 cup, shredded Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk, Low Moisture Cheese

Recipe Directions for Lite and Easy Lasagna

Boil the pasta according to the directions on the label. Drain the pasta and set it aside. Preheat the oven to 350. In a large skillet, brown the ground meat on medium high heat and then drain. Add the frozen spinach, black pepper, garlic powder, and oregano to your ground meat. Cook stirring until the spinach is thawed and cooked through. Stir the ricotta and one jar of sauce into the meat and spinach mixture and set aside. Coat the bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking dish with 1 cup pasta sauce to prevent your lasagna from sticking to the pan. Line the bottom of your baking dish with 1/3 of the lasagna pasta. Spread half of the meat and spinach mixture over the pasta. Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella over meat and spinach. Layer another 1/3 pasta over the cheese. Spread remaining meat and spinach mixture over the second layer of pasta and top that with 1 cup shredded mozzarella. Layer the remaining pasta on top of the cheese. Spread the remaining sauce over the last layer of pasta. Sprinkle on the last cup of mozzarella. Top the lasagna by sprinkling on the dried basil. Spray the inside of aluminum foil with cooking spray and cover your dish. Place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes. Let the lasagna cool for approximately 10 minutes. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
