a light version of delicous apple pie

Recipe Ingredients for Lite Aple Pie

2 cups flour
1 cup splenda
10 small apples
1 tablespoon crisco
1 cup applesauce
1 cup GOLEAN Crunch
2 egg whites
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp apple pie spice
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Recipe Directions for Lite Aple Pie

  1. Take flour reserve 2 tablespoons.

  2. mix in the crisco, 2/3 cup of applesauce

  3. pinch of salt form into a dough. Roll out to fill 13 x9 inch pan. (you can use tablespoons of water if needed to thin out dough.

  4. peel and cut apples into thin slices. Mix in remainder of applesauce, egg whites, sugar subsitute, cinnamon, spices. Mix well. pour over crust, top with go lean kashi cereal.

  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then turn down to 350 degrees, and bake for an additional 40 minutes, until golden brown. cut into 12 peices.
