No for the weak~Recipe analyzer would not take non fat evaporated milk, but I use that lately. Don't skimp on butter though.

Recipe Ingredients for Lita's Garlic Mashed Potatoes

4 large baking potatoes
1 stick butter
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 cup evaporated milk

Recipe Directions for Lita's Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. Peel potatoes and cut into about 1 inch cubes. Place in a large put of salted water and boil until tender with a toothpick.

  2. Meanwhile, place stick of butter in a glass pyrex measure and add chopped garlic. Melt in microwave until garlic is infused into butterabout 1 minute give or take depending on butter tmeperature. Just don't let it get too hot.

  3. Drain potatoes when done and add into electric mixer bowl or other bowl if you wish to mash by hand. Turn on low at first and add garlic butter salt and pepper. Slowly add milk, turning up speed a little at a time. Mix until creamy. Taste for salt and pepper add more if desired.
