Recipe Ingredients for Linz's Italian Casserole

30 oz. Diced tomatoes
1 Bell pepper
1 onion
4 tbsp Olive oil
2 lbs chicken
1 tbsp Basil
1 tbsp Celery Salt
1 tsp Oregano
1 Salt and Pepper to taste
16 oz. whole wheat pasta
12 oz. low fat cheese

Recipe Directions for Linz's Italian Casserole

  1. Boil chicken, set aside.

  2. Boil pasta in chicken broth.

  3. Add olive oil to sauce pan, on medium heat

  4. dice onions and bell pepper and add to oil, saute until dones. Add tomatoes and spices let simmer

  5. chop chicken and add to sauce mixture. Cover and let simmer about 15 minutes.

  6. Place cooked pasta in a 13x9 casserole dish.

  7. Pour sauce mixture over pasta evenly. Add cheese to top. Top with parsley for look.

  8. Bake on 350 until cheese browns.
