Recipe Ingredients for linguini del mar

1 large red onion, diced
1 small zucchini, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
20 oz baby clams
1 tbsp chopped garlic
28 oz canned tomatoes, diced
5 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1/2 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 pound bay scallops
1 cup white wine
14 oz whole wheat spaghetti, uncooked

Recipe Directions for linguini del mar

  1. sautee onions and garlic in olive oil until tender

  2. make pasta according to directions

  3. meanwhile, add other spices to onions and garlic

  4. add tomato sauce, and bring to a simmer

  5. add seafood and cook until just done

  6. toss pasta and sauce together

  7. serve
