Linguini with Cashews and Scallions

Recipe Ingredients for Linguini with Cashews and Scallions

8 oz barilla linguine
3 oz cashews
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cooking sherry
2 teaspoons white sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced

Recipe Directions for Linguini with Cashews and Scallions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place linguini in the pot, cook 9 to 11 minutes, until al dente, and drain.

  2. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, and saute the cashews 5 minutes, until lightly browned. Mix in the cooked linguini, teriyaki sauce, ginger, and green onion, and continue to cook and stir until heated through.
